Your class will be writing one or two paragraph(s) as a class group for the story (not one paragraph per student). The first class will write the intro paragraph(s). Then the next class will read the paragraph(s) and decide how they want to continue the story. This will continue until the last class on the list writes the ending and gives the story a title. Your paragraph(s) will be typed onto this Wiki page. You will add the 3 pictures to the wiki after your class writes your paragraph(s). You can pass the writing on to the next teacher before you post your pictures. The pictures should illustrate events in the section that your class wrote.

Title (given by last class):

What should have been a fun filled week for the seniors at Berklin High School turned into a nightmare when one of their classmates went missing. It all started when the senior class was rewarded with a one week ski trip to a resort in Utah for winning the basketball tournament. The class was looking forward to the trip so they already started planning what they were going to do when they arrived. When they got there the first thing they did was go skiing. Venessa suggested that all of them should have a race to see who could get to the bottom of the slopes first. Tyrone came in first place. After the race, Emily got mad at Tyrone. She said that he bumped into her and almost made her fall. Damian suggested that they race again. When they started, Emily was in the lead and Tyrone was right behind her. Venessa and some of the other classmates were cheering for Tyrone, while Damian and the rest of the class were cheering for Emily. In the end, Tyrone won again and Emily congratulated him. The rest of the class started to cheer for Tyrone and Emily saying that they were both amazing. After they were done laughing and joking around a blizzard started and they all had to go inside. When they got inside they realized that Tyrone was missing. They told Principal Bledsoe. He said he would go look for him. He checked everywhere in the ski resort, but could not find him.

It was passed midnight, the fierce blizzard still evolving, and the wind still roaring. The thought of Tyrone going missing tortured everyone, but there was nothing that they could do because the blizzard had become too severe. All of a sudden, there were terrible shrieks, getting louder and louder as the lights flickered on and off repeatedly. After a minute or so, the sound finally died down and all the rooms turned pitch black. Everyone ignored what had happened, thinking it was just the violent wind that caused a power outage. Later in the morning, everyone questioned each other if they heard the startling noises.

“Damien, Venessa! Did you hear those sounds as well?” Emily had asked.

There was no answer from any one of them.

“Guys, are you here?”

The room fell so silent, that you could hear a pin drop. Emily counted those who were there. David, Rebecca, Stephaney, Miles, Jonah, Skylar, Kayla, Lola, Darien, Carter and the rest are here… except Tyrone, Damien, and Venessa. Everyone exchanged cryptic looks, until Principal Bledsoe barged into the room, screaming that Damien and Venessa had gone missing.

“What do you mean they’re missing? Weren’t they here last night?” everyone questioned in unison.

“They were, but apparently the room service did not find them in the room when they went to clean,” the principal claimed.

“So, what do we do now?” David asked. There was complete silence.

“Yeah, we have to find the criminal!” Carter yelled. “The suspects must be closer than we think, right Principal Bledsoe? It can be one of us.” Carter eyeballed the principal.

“Uh… or… um… not? They might be in the snow?” the principal stuttered.

“But how could they still be in the snow-” Lola was interrupted.

“If they were here with us. The resort is locked after 10:00 PM. There was no way they could have left,” Kayla came to the conclusion.

“So the only thing that makes sense is that Damien, Venessa, and even Tyrone were kidnapped by someone here in the resort since no one could have come in or gone out! But who would do such a thing?” Miles questioned.

“Emily! You were envious of Tyrone when he beat you when you two were skiing! It could have been you!” Principal Bledsoe pointed his finger at her.

“Uh… NO! Tyrone, Damien, Venessa, and I have been like siblings since kindergarten! It would have been ridiculous to kidnap my friend just because I lost against him in a skiing race. There is no way it could have been me!”

Jonah came in Emily’s defense saying, “Principal Bledsoe, why would you accuse your student of committing a ruthless and wanton crime just because she was ‘envious’? That seems quite suspicious and sinister to me.”

Everyone nodded in agreement. The principal stayed there, frozen with a horrific look on his face. It looked like he had seen a ghost!

That was when everything went dark. All they heard was a bang, a scream, and then… silence.
